  • Spirit Shirts

    Spirit Shirts

    Order forms for spirit shirts were emailed. The deadline for submitting order forms and payment is Tuesday, August 20. These shirts may be worn for T-Shirt Fridays. Please choose your sizes carefully. There are no refunds or exchanges. A limited number of green spirit shirts from the previous school year are on sale in the main office for $10 each. Additionally, this coming Friday, August 16, is T-Shirt Friday. Students may pay $1 to their homeroom teacher to wear an LCS Spirit Shirt

    Chapel

    The first Chapel Services of the year will be Thursday, August 22. The 3rd-6th grade Chapel is 8:30 a.m.- 9:00a.m., K4-2nd grade Chapel is 9:10 a.m.-9:40 a.m. High School Chapel (7th-12th grade) is 9:45 a.m.–10:20 a.m. The guest speaker for 7th-12th grade Chapel is Josh Eaton from First Baptist Church of Purvis. The speaker for the 3rd-6th grade Chapel is Mrs. Angelique Kendrick. All family and friends are welcome to attend any or all Chapel Services. Please be in prayer for these services.

    Transportation Changes

    If your child has a transportation change for the afternoon, please try to contact the office no later than 1:45 p.m. to make those changes.

    Traffic

    LCS families, if you drop off or pick up a student in the elementary building, please enter the first turn lane into the school. If you are dropping off or picking up a student in the 7th-12th grade building, please enter the 2nd turn lane/entrance to the 7th-12th grade parking area and follow the arrows. We ask that you do not enter either entrance and drive through oncoming traffic for the safety for our students, parents, and fellow drivers. Please be aware of your speed when entering and exiting the campus. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

    Chapel

    The first Chapel Services of the year will be Thursday, August 22. All family and friends are welcome to attend any or all Chapels Service. Please be in prayer for these services.

    Water Bottles

    K4-6th grade students may bring a water bottle each day. Bottles must be filled with water only. Other drinks are available and permissible at lunch. 7th-12th grade students may bring a clear bottle of water such as Dasani, Pure Life, etc. These are the only bottles/drink allowed in the high school classrooms. Refillable bottles, Stanley cups, etc. are not permissible for students in the high school classrooms. 7th-12th grade students may also purchase drinks from the vending machines during break.

    Transportation / Car Line

    If your child will need school bus/van transportation for the 2024-2025 school year, please contact the main office as soon as possible. Please see the attached transportation request form. Please note the changes in pick up and drop off times at some of the bus stops. If your child was a bus/van rider during the 2023-2024 school year and will no longer need this service, please communicate this information to the school office as soon as possible.

    Car line signs will be distributed the first week of school for elementary car riders. Please display these in the front windshield of your vehicle to avoid delays in carline. Any person picking up a child in carline will need a sign. Please notify the office if you need more than one sign.
